Nelita Villezon is Los Angeles native. Her entire life has revolved around martial arts and dance. She grew up in her parents martial arts schools where she not only trained, but started teaching at a young age. She excelled greatly at many styles of martial arts (Eskrima/Arnis, Muay Thai, JKD, Tae Kwon Do, Wushu, Northern Shaolin and Grappling) winning a state championship in the Junior Olympics, title as Southwestern Regional Stick Fighting Championship and medeling the US Open. As a child, Nelita began dancing in her parents living room late at night with her mom and sister. At age eight she would train in Classical Ballet, Modern, and Jazz at the Conservatory of Fine Arts Cal State LA. Years later she also studied Belly Dance and Hip Hop. She has danced professionally for artist such as Pharrell and Daft Punk. Among all of this, she holds personal training certifications through AFAA and group exercise certification through AFAA. She is also a trainer for Sony Music Group artist and has trained such celebrities as Becky G., Sophia Black, and Karrueche Tran. Along with fitness, Nelita also has an extensive acting/modeling career and is represented by one of the top agencies in Los Angeles NTA Talent. She can be seen in several national campaigns, commercials and magazine covers. Nelita's passion for teaching comes from the moment she sees a student lose themselves in a class and forgets anything prior to it or what may happen after.
