Becky Curtright said goodbye to a respectable job, an amazing city, and a predictable weekly routine to follow a dream that could have been fabulously reckless. It proved to be the smartest thing she has ever done. With her husband and amazing little human in tow (and a healthy amount of stuffed animals), they are 12 countries traveled and emancipated from the daily grind. Now bonded to the beach, they call the coast of Mexico home.

Born and raised in Northern Nevada, Becky kept busy in community theater and cheerleading. In college, she studied jazz and African dance under Martina Young which solidified her life-long love for movement. She balanced two jobs, college, and her parallel life as a club DJ. Seattle or bust, she relocated and began a long career at Amazon; corporate by day, DJ by night. It's there she met her husband, DJ and producer, where their play together-stay together began. In 2009 they traded the club for kiteboarding which would redefine all future travel, and eventually their fate. They are co-owners of Buoy Wear and ComeKiteWithUs; two businesses centered around their love for the wind and water. In 2021, their guesthouse, Costa Chido, will open its doors. Becky is a wife, a mother, a Barre instructor, a dancer, and an entrepreneur. Life’s a beach, and life is good.
