Growing up as a musician, AJ was always fascinated by rhythm and musicality. AJ attended Bloom School of Music in Eagle Rock, CA, and started dancing and playing instruments there at the age of 12. There, he developed a general knowledge for music and started to follow his passion for dancing.

After leaving Bloom School of Music, he regularly attended hip-hop classes at Live Arts Los Angeles and trained under Kenan Peters. All of his training led him to joining Bishop Alemany High School's competition hip-hop team and developed as a dancer and choreographer, pushing him to take classes from many different choreographers, and started to dance for Future Shock Los Angeles.

Currently, AJ is a work study for the Kinjaz Dojo in Monterey Park, CA. Also, he is an assistant director for Future Shock Los Angeles, and an instructor/choreographer for Royalty Dance Academy in San Fernando, CA.

Outside of dancing, AJ attends Cal State University Northridge. His mission statement is, "To entertain, serve, and heal the world." Through dance, he believes he could achieve his mission and make an impact in the dance world.
