Susanne Petersen is a certified GROOV3 instructor with a dynamic dance history. Born in East Germany, Susanne was inspired to begin dancing at age 15 after seeing a local dance company perform. She set her sights on joining the group — and was successful! She was a member of the company for eight years, performing in fashion shows, trade shows and with up-and-coming musicians around Germany.
In 2003 she moved to the U.S. and soon became a magician's assistant, performing on many occasions at the Hollywood Magic Castle, on the TV show "Masters of Illusion," and delighting audiences at an Oregon casino during a three-month residency.
When she's not training at the EDGE Performing Arts Center or Millennium Dance Complex, or performing with Benjamin Allen at GROOV3 events around the country, Susanne is working as a registered nurse in the ICU at a hospital in Los Angeles, and snuggling with her two adorable cats.
