Susan Lai

Susan Lai was born and raised in Southern California. As a child, she dreamed of being a dancer - she always acted out dance sequences from concert and music videos. Pursuing dance was not an option as a child due to financial circumstances, so she swam competitively from age 7 all the way through college. Swimming was always a passion of hers --- she spreads her passion now through teaching and coaching.

Dancing was still a passion and dream of Susan's, which lead her to becoming a certified Zumba instructor in 2012. Her genuine joy for dance showed while teaching Zumba, which lead to more and more people coming to take her class.

Susan was introduced to GROOV3 in 2015 and caught the GROOV3 bug and since then became a dedicated follower of GROOV3. What she enjoyed most was the community of GROOV3 and being able to dance her heart out at every class.
