Charles Wheat began his career of over 12 years after assisting backstage during a production of the musical “Fiddler on the Roof”. After realizing that he was destined to perform and create shows of his own he explored his love of dance where he has enjoyed the privilege of dancing with artists such as Celine Dion, T-boz (of T.L.C), Salt N Pepa, and Thelma Houston. He’s appeared on TV shows like American Dreams and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as two NBC movies of the week, The Little Richard Story and The 60's, even appearing in a National Pepsi commercial. Charles made his acting debut in the feature film Love Don’t Cost a Thing with Nick Cannon and Christina Milian. To add to his experience he performed as a dancer/singer on Royal Caribbean's “Viking Serenade”.

Charles has had the opportunity to work with many great choreographers like Vince Patterson, Troy Christian, Shanda Sawyer, High Hat, Rosero and Jamal, Courtney Miller and even assisting Neisha Folkes. On his own he as choreographed for artists such as Brian Mcknight, Immature (IMX), Smooth and Tony Haris. He’s also choreographed shows which have appeared at the Henry Fonda Theater, Bowers Museum, and L.A.’s Key Club in Hollywood.

Charles has a love for the Hip Hop and Jazz styles of dance, but is very inspired by the works of Alvin Ailey, Bob Fosse, and various cultural styles of dancing. Broadway musicals have also influenced Charles, and his work much like the musicals seek to tell a story. He works best when incorporating all that he has learned and been exposed to over the years into his art, while trying to reach his audiences and inspire them to feel as well as be entertained.

From backstage, on stage and beyond, Charles is ready to take entertainment to a new level and share his creativity with the world.
