Benjamin was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. He was always the type of kid that attended every school dance and bar/bat mitzvah. If there was a dance floor and a DJ, he was there. It wasn’t until college that he discovered an actual dance class. While attending Arizona State University to get his degree in business and communication, his passion for dance grew over the 4 years.

Charles Wheat began his career of over 12 years after assisting backstage during a production of the musical “Fiddler on the Roof”. After realizing that he was destined to perform and create shows of his own he explored his love of dance where he has enjoyed the privilege of dancing with artists such as Celine Dion, T-boz (of T.L.C), Salt N Pepa, and Thelma Houston. He’s appeared on TV shows like American Dreams and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as two NBC movies of the week The Little Richard Story and The 60's, even appearing in a National Pepsi commercial.
