the groov3ment

GROOVE n. (gru:v) A situation or an activity that one enjoys or to which one is especially well suited: A very pleasurable experience: To take great pleasure or satisfaction; enjoy oneself.

MOVEMENT n. [’muːvmənt] A series of actions and events taking place over a period of time and working to foster a principle or policy: An organized effort by supporters of a common goal: A tendency or trend.

The GROOV3MENT is a grassroots initiative to motivate, inspire and unite communities through dance. Founded in Los Angeles California by dancer/choreographer Benjamin Allen, the GROOV3MENT was designed to span the globe and introduce dance, and the benefits it holds to the general public. Young, old, rich, or poor we have seen dance be a common thread that brings EVERYONE together.

class policies

  • ALL STUDENTS are required to sign in and all payments are due prior to class.
  • Class cards expire 2 months from first class use.
  • If you arrive late for class, please be respectful of the instructor and fellow students by standing near the back, to ensure that no one is disturbed.
  • Videotaping/Photos are only allowed at the discretion of the instructor. Please obtain permission prior to taking video and/or photos during class.
